St. Charles Parish Schools

The mission of St. Charles Parish Public Schools is to provide high quality educational opportunities to enable students to become responsible, productive citizens and enthusiastic life-long learners.The St. Charles Parish Puclic School System includes 29 facilities, 17 schools and 6 centers.  Also, there are three private schools in St. Charles Parish that provide excellent alternatives for students not attending public schools.
St. Charles Parish is a model for its School-to-Career initiative, a reform movement that prepares students for today’s jobs as the U.S. shifts from an industrial economy to a global, technical and information-based economy. There are two state funded and parish-supported regional technical institutes within 35 minutes of St. Charles Parish. They are ITT Technical Institute and South Central Louisiana Technical College/River Parishes Campus.
