COMMUNITY SERVICES PROVIDED MORE THAN 250 THANKSGIVING BASKETS TO FAMILIES IN NEED

With the support of community partners, the Department of Community Services gave out more than 250 Thanksgiving baskets and turkeys to elderly and low income families across St. Charles Parish.

As part of the Thanksgiving Basket Program, the department provides baskets of goods to residents in need for the holidays each November. Each basket contains a turkey and other dishes that one would find at a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
