ST. CHARLES PARISH SPECIAL REPORT MAILED TO ALL RESIDENTS IN JULY
St. Charles Parish officials mailed a special report brochure in early July to all residents highlighting the parish work done last year.
The digital copy of the report is available here.
“My administration’s goal is to continuously work towards improving the quality of life for our residents and it is our responsibility to be transparent on how we are achieving that,” said Parish President Larry Cochran “This report captures the great things that are being accomplished in St. Charles Parish.”
Produced by the Public Information Office, the tri-fold brochure gives a brief overview of parish departments’ accomplishments in 2016 with an emphasis on numbers.
2016 marked the first year in office for the current administration. The brochure also gives a glimpse of the administration’s goals and accomplishments in 2017.
Late last week, it was announced that the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation to the Department of Finance for the 2017 Budget.
NOTE: The printed version of the report mailed out to residents misrepresented the number of RSVP volunteers and the number of people that WIOA found jobs for as the numbers reflected all three river parishes together. They have been updated in the online version to reflect only St. Charles Parish.
The mission of St. Charles Parish government is to provide high quality, efficient services to sustain and enhance the quality of life for all residents of St. Charles Parish.
