1. SCP Report It. We launched this service in March and it is an interactive map-based application where residents can report streetlights, mosquito control, missed garbage or piled up debris and get real time feedback and status reports. The application is linked on the website or available at Special thanks to the Contract Monitor's Office for managing the application and the GIS Office for creating it!

2. Water bill payments. Although technically the payments aren’t handled through the website, the link is available on the homepage and can be found here.

3. E-notifications. Too busy to check the parish website for information you need? Tired of being spammed by news that doesn’t affect you? Then sign up for the parish’s e-news system and you will receive notifications for only the categories you choose. This is the best way to learn about upcoming dates, events and breaking news in the parish.

4. Job applications. Gone are the days where applicants have to travel to the courthouse to apply for a parish job. The application for employment is available in an interactive form or as a PDF. However, walk-ins are still welcomed. Visitors are always appreciated!

5. SCP-TVTraditionally, the government access channel was available only on TV, however in 2014 the channel was rebranded as “SCP-TV” and made available online at So get your popcorn ready!

6. Code of ordinances. Every ordinance approved by the parish council is available in this easy-to-use, searchable application. Looking to pop fireworks? Search “fireworks” and you will find all rules and restriction on their usage.

7. Startup St. Charles. When the website re-launched in 2015, along with it came one new section entitled “Start Up St. Charles” that has information for new residents moving to the parish and a guide for businesses to get started.
